Karin Gilliam holds cookery courses at Mulino Rotone in early summer (May) and autumn (September/October), and most participants come from abroad. The courses are held in German or English and last between five days – for a mini-break – and two weeks. Courses lasting longer than five days include excursions, for example to Siena, Florence, Lucca or Volterra and San Gimignano, as well as wine tastings. The course programme is flexible and can accommodate specific requests if discussed in advance.

Prices start from EUR 750.-- per person for a 5 to 6 day course, with accommodation included. Prices for two-week courses with excursions and wine tastings will depend on extra transport and other costs, with programmes to be decided.

Dates, duration and prices of courses available on request. Groups and individuals, couples and friends all take part in our courses, and the atmosphere is always relaxed and enjoyable – in general people who like to eat and drink know how to enjoy life to the full.

Teamwork is desirable, explanations are provided for more uncommon recipes, and each participant receives a folder, either in English or German, so that they can practise the dishes again once they arrive back home. Groups of more than six people and returning participants are eligible for special rates.
