Mulino Rotone is set in large gardens full of flowers, hedges of oleander, hibiscus and bay, cypresses and palm trees. Adjoining the gardens are a small orchard, an olive grove and kilometres of ‘nightingale’ woods with cork oaks.
It is a quiet setting; a private drive leads to the property. The house is surrounded by places to which guests can retire, undisturbed, with a book or a glass of wine, and enjoy their holiday. Privacy is guaranteed for all visitors, as the layout of the house ensures a wealth of isolated spots, while the gardens and terraces that belong to the individual apartments are equipped with plenty of garden chairs, deckchairs, sun loungers, dining tables and barbecues.
Our beautiful and sandy beaches are very near, offering endless uncloddered vistas for strolls. Children have all opportunities to play in or close to the water.
On the grounds of Rotone, fitted in gardens, lush with flowering bushes and trees, there are two pools. In the front area is the smaller pool, and the lawn behind the building, sloping down towards the brook, is used as an area for games and play. The circular pool has a water-level of 1.20 meter, and a diameter of 5 meter.Children may here take their toy animals to swim and can use the adjoining lawn, chaded by palms, for all kind of ball games. There is also table tennis in front of the barn.
The garden area behind the main buildings, with the open structur, has a larger pool (8 x 12 meter). This, however is not a playground. It is the private area of the owners. Guests of Mulino Rotone are welcome to swim and enjoy the calm and relaxation. Sufficient number of garden furniture is avalable also here.
